Equipment

There are just a few items you will need for our summer swim team! All swimmers are required to wear competitive-style swimsuits for meets and practices. Please plan on attending our pre-season suit fitting to ensure your swimmer has the right fit, especially if your family is new to swimming!

Swimsuit

For meets, all swimmers are required to wear the competitive team suit. One team suit is included in team fees!! Below is our team suit for 2025. Extras can be ordered at SwimOutlet.

It is recommended that swimmers save their team suit only for meets, and that they have a collection of additional practice suits to wear during practice times. Girls should wear a one-piece, competition-style suit, and the boys should wear competitive jammers or briefs; any color is fine for practice. The Sporti brand from SwimOutlet.com is typically a very economical choice for practice suits, and is also the brand of our team suit this year.

Cap

Each swimmer and diver will receive one swim cap as part of their team fees, and they will be passed out before the first meet. You must wear the Poolcats swim cap for meets. Yes, boys wear swim caps too! To prevent them from tearing, it is best to save your team cap for meets and to wear another cap during practice. Additional caps can be purchased from the concession stand at meets, or from a coach or board member before/after practices.

Goggles

Any type of goggles (excluding masks that cover the nose) will work. Some are certainly better than others when diving/racing. Ask a coach if you have any questions. Please bring goggles to practice every day!
